The movie Wicked follows the story of Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), a misunderstood young woman because of her green skin, and Glinda (Ariana Grande-Butera), a popular, spoiled rich girl. The two meet at Shiz University in the Land of Oz and eventually become friends, despite their very different personalities. After an encounter with the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroad, leading them down paths that will shape their futures forever.

The movie Wicked is a prequel to the classic movie The Wizard of Oz! It tells the untold story of the witches of Oz, exploring the origins of Elphaba (the Wicked Witch of the West) and Glinda (the Good Witch), and how their destinies were shaped before Dorothy's arrival in Oz.
